A Church in the desert practicing the Fundamentals of the Faith.
What We Believe
"Our mission is to make and develop followers of Christ in our local community and
around the world."
We believe: That the scriptures of the Old and New Testament are divinely inspired of God by the Holy Spirit.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 ; 2 Peter 1:19-21
We believe: The Godhead externally exists in three persons: the Father (Matthew 6:9-12), the Son (John 10:22-39 ; John 20:30-31) and the Holy Spirit (John 7:37-39; John 14:26; John 16:12-15).
We believe: In Jesus Christ, pre-existing coequally with the Father (John 10:30), begotten of the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, sinless and perfect; (Isaiah 7:14; Matthew 1:18-25) resurrected bodily from the dead ( Matthew 28:5-7), visibly ascended into heaven
( Luke 24:50-51), now making intercession for us there.
We believe: In the Holy Spirit, who convicts people of their sins, draws those who will to Christ, makes believers children of God through the
new birth and dwells within them thereby enabling them to live Godly lives.
We believe: That all people are sinful and lost (Romans 3:23), both by choice and by nature and have within themselves no means of salvation (Romans 3:10-18).
We believe: Salvation is by grace through faith. That it is a gift from God, not of works, nor personal merit; that it is recieved by personal faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8-9); that all who believe are justified by His blood (Romans 3:24) and are eternally secure(John 3:16).
We believe: In the second coming of Christ. That His return from heaven will be visible, personal, glorious and always imminent. Matthew 24:36-42; I Corinthians 15:51-57; I Thessalonians 4:13-18
We believe: In the rewards of the righteous who are ruling and reigning with Him in heaven eternally. 2 Timothy 4:8
We believe: In the priesthood of all believers. That we have access into God's presence through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit without any
human agency. I Peter 2:5&9
We believe: In the New Testament Church (Matthew 16:18; Acts 20:28), composed of born again, baptized believers practicing the Scriptural ordinances and actively
engaged in fulfilling The Great Commission.
